The Emerald Ash Borer

So the emerald ash borer has arrived in Brantford and it seems to have taken those in charge by surprise. It's been slowly spreading towards Brantford for at least the past five years but no plans were put in place to deal with its arrival. Now that it's here they are going to study the problem. I can save them a lot of time and trouble. This pest will destroy all of the estimated 90,00 ash trees in the city if no action is taken. A number can be saved if treated immediately. Or, can we expect the usual response of waiting until it too late and all are lost ? Or will we follow the lead of Norfolk County where their solution to save their ash trees is a plan to cut down every ash tree in the county over the next ten years? Sort of sounds like the Brantford's solution to saving its downtown.
