Mayoral Campaign Finances

The Expositor had a recent article about how much each mayoral and councilor candidate spent on their campaigns. It also told who were the major contributors to the top three spenders for the mayor's chair, but not for Chris Friel, who was the fourth highest spender and now the current mayor. Wouldn't it be nice to know just who contribute to his campaign? There were some prominent developers on the lists of others. Were developers backing Friel as well? Why the secrecy when the finances of councilor candidates who raised and spent much less are disclosed but Friel's almost $25,000 fund isn't? What's being hidden?
