Plowed in Driveways

We have been fortunate so far this winter to not have to deal with a lot of snow. But last night's storm was fairly signicicant. And of course, after I had my sidewalk (have to obey that bylaw) and driveway shovelled out the city plow came along and filled in the end of the driveway with a major amount of snow. There is technology that exists that allows the plow driver to lower a smaller blade as he passes driveways so that the driveway is kept clear. It wouldn't slow the snow removal all that much and despite having some added cost it's not that much when compared to other budget items. Besides aren't taxes supposed to provide services to the home owners who pay them. But despite an increase of 4% the poor taxpayer gets the short end of the stick again.... and a driveway full of snow.
