Lawless In Caledonia

An elderly couple is pursued and harassed and a camera crew that films this is assulted and has their camera stolen and the tape destroyed. All the while a dozen OPP officers watch and do nothing. Shameful.

These policemen should all be fired for neglecting their duty unless under orders to do nothing and then whoever gave those orders should be held accountable. Premier McGuinty has condemed the violence but not the lack of police action. Is he the one who gave those orders? If so, he should resign. All citizens of Ontario have the right to expect full police protection.

There should be a full inquiry into this matter. But the Liberals won't allow it, even though they were the ones who howled about the need for an inquiry into Ipperwash. And of course, Dave Levac will agree.

The Brantford General Hospital Location

Am I the only one who sees the folly of having the area's only hospital located directly adjacent to the main CN rail line? There is a lot of hazardous material that passes by this location on trains daily. What if a major accident was to occur that necessitated the evacuation of this facility? Where would all of the patients be taken and how could this ever be acomplished quickly especially if there were other casualties resulting from this accident?
